In a totally different industry thousands of miles away honestly this is why I made the jump to management. In American companies, especially the insurance, annuities, financial company I was at the work force seemed to be shifting to “those who are in management, and those who are not” I saw the shift in other industries as well.

For every FTE there was a new director or associate Vice President being hired and more jobs went to a contractor role. I decided to make the jump vs be left on the dock as the boat sailed.

There you go again, trying to apply logic to this company. When are you all going to remember that hourly people are viewed as a liability NOT an asset to this company. We are as close to bottom feeders as you can get to these people. Peasants, in the way of royalty.
