Just speculation but it would make sense to move 10-6 closed Sunday and they could probably downsize a rep and at least one manager. Just thinking from a company perspective.

There will most likely be something happening in Q1 when budget opens up. There are many stores with out a GM and are looking to fill but budget. Probably have more budget if we weren’t flying Ronan back and forth from Ireland.

See I understand part time is their goal but at least in my area we are so understaffed that stores have to close Sunday and a day during the week because they only have enough reps for one shift.
Personally I think Verizon over played it's hand and you won't see retail change much for a few years. I think the old plan was to drive us away but now they trapped themselves. Especially until the pandemic is over hiring is basically impossible.

The training of the general public has begun ,To buy phones online and do it yourself phone content transfer. So, i believe the next step is to get everyone to part-time status to at least 32 hours a week. The reps that refuse will be offered some sought of package.( Most probably the same they gave in August 2020 to the reps in stores that were overstaffed) This will happen in 2021 so they won't need layoffs.
