A lot to be thankful for...we have good jobs, in an industry that hasn’t been devastated. Clearly winning on every metric, financial, client and people! Ofdc and ofs becoming a thing of the past and new Fiserv poised to do well for many years to come. Goodbye to all the doomsayers and naysayers, poitive prevails over negative. Happy Thanksgiving!

The OFS group did a lot with very little, and OFD does very little with a lot of people. If OFS and OFD merger actually took the best of both groups, there would have been good synergies. Unfortunately, the new OFD managements; also known as the JPmorgan rejects, choose to implement a bloated hierarchy of outdated management functions that don't promote innovations and improvements. It is just a micro-management style that is driven by fear mongering. A great example of this is how employees are discouraged from giving an opinions on changes being rolled out by senior management that doesn't have a clue on how it will impact teams of clients. If we go to how this relates to layoffs, we have had customers that are getting upset with us, and i would expect that some contracts to not get refilled. I would guess that in 2021 that we would see a 5%-10% layoff in 2021.
Got a clue for you - OFD leadership (And I use that word loosely) couldn't hold the OFS leadership's jock strap
More whiny OFS losers. Still bitter OFD is running the show and better than you all ever did
It’s no wonder all your leadership was ran off
Right, lol
I think you actually get high on downvotes
High on the future of fiserv now that first data runs it!!!!!!
Lol yeah the stock price is going up because people are getting fired. Are you high?
The stock is way up because we’re cleaning out the OFS people. Watch and learn
18 Billion in the red. Someone is definitely weak with a calculator or a weakling in business. Oh btw how is the stock math wizard?
Our life is owning you OFS weaklings. Grab us some coffee while we show you how it’s done
I'm in agreement with @1cct+187mHQaw. I work for a large bank that has been a long-time customer and things have been rockier than usual lately. Most notably, the firewalls they use somehow have endless issues, with constant attacks and ad-hoc rules to mitigate the attacks (which sometimes block our own customers from accessing the products). They assured us they would employ 24/7 monitoring of services, but things are still quite bumpy to say the least. For my own sake, I really hope Fiserv gets their act together in the long run.
Most of you need to just ignore the trolls here. There are a few OFD people who show their true colors of a–hole and post comments just to get under the skin of people. They have no life, no purpose so they seek to get a rise out of others. They are sad really, if you think about it.
You work for us? Hmm, long gone buddy - so where in the merger documentation did it stipulate that First Data ran the show? Or was it not supposed to be a smooth merger?
OFS didn’t purchase anyone buddy. You work for us
If OFS was a clown show, why did First Data allow itself to be purchased by a three ring circus of clowns? Hmmm, answer that one!!!!
I, too, signed a non-disparagement agreement when I was let go by Fiserv. That won't stop me from saying what a terrible company it is!
Its sad you all can’t keep up with our high standards. OFS was a clown show, the big boys are running the show now
I was RIF'd earlier this year, and signed the "don't bad-mouth us" paperwork in order to get my severance. That hasn't stopped me from posting all over the 'net and warning everyone about what a terrible place Fiserv has become. I reckon I have prevented a sizable chunk of people from working for this terrible regime. I figure if Fiserv can kick its own hard-working associates to the curb while polluting the web with fake glassdoor reviews, I can help offset that a little bit simply by telling people the truth about what it's like to work there.
Hey, a critical comment from a real Customer here!!! Wow, Betcha FB cannot buy that one off Maybe he can terminate the customer - no, the new Fiserv is doing that just fine. Excellent long post by the way.
Wow give me a break. The new leadership isn't leadership at all, it is micro-management. The outages have been caused by decisions made by the new First Data Management to randomly make changes without investigating the impact of those decisions. The First Data HR people decided to let people go randomly that knew the infrastructure, and put in people that are clueless. I would continue to expect outages to occur until the new management seeks the advice of their seasoned professions on possible impact of their decisions.
Todays culture, if you offer your opinion you are labeled as uncooperative, which means that no one wants to share information. Management has decided to demotivate and shutdown employees from communicating. I bet the your voice survey will be the lowest participation percent since 2013.
So, when I see this BS post. Maybe the HR and FD shills should take a harder look at the mess they created. I would expect that impact to customer to continue occurring, and would not be surprised if FIS start nabbing more clients . Since so many of them are experiencing constant outages.
But hey, lets boost the stock value by doing stock buybacks while we can, strip away benefits to screw over employees, while giving subpar raises to the hardworking people that interact with clients. Way to go FB and your dictatorship "Management" group under you. Lets see how many clients we can push away before you realize a change is needed.
18 months later the Merger is a rolling disaster. I am a customer of Fiserv and the number of outages has been stupid crazy. Each month it continues to get worse. The Merger Fiserv does not care about anyone or anything, but the stock price.
More First Data shills here - everything old Fiserv is bad FB has managed a miracle. Hey, this is a layoff board with much criticism of First Data and their dictatorial management style. Certainly you can find a better venue to tout all things good about Frank. Fiserv is dead, First Data has eaten it for lunch.
Go frank go!!!!!!
