Another fake post sent to antagonize the readers. This forum was useful at one time, but has now become as useless as Facebook.

You are asking for the real truth from a railroad? Are you serious? You must be new. Surely you don’t have enough seniority to still be working.

The real truth is you don’t know the difference between there and their. Enough said about another conspiracy theory from ignorant people that are absent of fact. And who cares? Keep the grand and use as you wish.

Theres alot more to this bonus that is going on behind closed doors. Its not a PR stunt, UP has plenty of employees that can save a cat from a housefire or tell how there family donates every christmas. But costing over 30 million dollars for this bonus is out of character, even the die hard employees cant deny this. Whats really going on here? Whats the real truth?

Demoralize, Desensitize, Chaos, Normalization.
These are the 4 steps of PSR 2020.

If this is true, I can now see. We were told that we would probably have to vote on this issue. No one ever told us why or what the reasoning was, just that we would have to vote to get it. Not sure who is cutting our toes more here....

Rumor was the bonus was an advance on future back pay from contract. Give us a thousand now and don’t get anything when the new contract gets shoved down our throat.

Why would they reject it? I don’t see where they even have a say in this. If UP wants to give a bonus, why would the unions object? I don’t think UP values it’s employees, but I would not turn down money that could benefit my family.

Yea right, unions don’t associate themselves with bonuses because it’s “unfair”. Just like hiring bonuses they have no say on what happens.
