Thread regarding Pembina Pipeline Corp layoffs

This is not sustainable

Operating too long with too much overhead. Too many senior reps and PMs coasting on fat salaries and bonuses without the workload to justify. You simply cannot function forever like that and expect to remain successful.

Exactly what @6peu+17sY380K said. Now if get rid of at least half of senior and mid management - since most of them are useless as it is - we might be able to right this ship. Other than that, we are done.

Get rid of the middle and senior managers who are into daily coc–ne and heavy alcohol.

A couple of hard working PMs were laid off on mid October in Major Projects. However, there are still too many Supervisors, Managers, Sr. Managers still there. It is pointless to keep many Managers and Supervisors when the people who really work are gone and projects are on hold. There is definitely a lot of favouritism in the company.

Fancy thinking but Pembina culture is decades old rotten to the core. Cronyism, nepotism, and favoritism.. Our company culture simply is not advanced enough to make the right decisions internally regarding anything.. much less human resource matters. Certain senior and middle managers will k–l this company from within. Watch it all unfold over the next 2 years. Everyone still employed at Pembina needs to remember that you do not owe this place anything. Quit it with the blind loyalty and seek an escape plan. Their severece packages were all garbage anyways.
