according to BP data to the SEC,
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/313807/000162828020014837/a30092020bp6kq3.htm
BP’s headcount has reduced by a total of around 2,800 so far during 2020, including around 300 who have already left the organization as part of the reinvent bp programme. A further 2,100 have elected to leave under the programme, which is expected to result in a total reduction of around 10,000 positions, the majority by the end of this year. BP expects to incur people-related costs associated with the reinvent programme, including redundancy payments, of around $1.4 billion over the next 1-2 years, primarily in 2020.
My bad, 4.3% NOT 43%.
43% of all G and H level employees would probably exceed the 10,000. I dont have a wife in HR but that math doesn't make sense
Exactly what it means, a repeat of 2010 43% of G and H level waxed. Don’t ask me about the amount I don’t know how they came up with it but my wife is HR there and it’s legit, 23 years there, she is gone as well next month. Don’t be scared, be greatfull, collect your severance and move on. Please don’t be the type who professed their love for a company that screwed them over. It’s pathetic, have some self dignity.
Will an observer be on the call with the line manager and the employee to give the news? Will the call be recorded...to protect the company?
what do you mean "Heard G and H"?
Heard H and G level....Front line managers etc... you know the type, cubicle delegators.
Confirmed for US.
Between nov 16th and nov 30th. Doubt they will be on schedule however so expect it to get pushed into December
Heard F level employee
