Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

How much more work will be expected to do?

I've been through a few BP layoffs before and each time we were expected to pick up the work of those who were let go. All of this with no extra pay, of course. But that can't go on forever. I think I'm done doing the work of three people for the same pay. And I think many other folks feel the same way. If that's the case, I'd rather be laid off, to be honest.

The comment below this is coming from a certified Do u chebag. Honestly, the question above is what made me EOI. I struggle with how a company going through transformational changes will continue to extend the benefits it does. With bonuses being axed, could pension and 401k be next? Other O&G majors have already done so, which leads me to believe NO is next.

Likely pay will decrease as well. Merging upstream and downstream will require some correction. How can BP justify paying upstream more than downstream for the same job? Downstream does have lower salaries. Anyone who is stuck at BP GL that's all I have to say. Can't wait to see what benefits they reduce/cut as well.
