Just saw that Charlie will host a town hall in a week. Does this mean the 10/27 layoff date is accurate?

The exec's at Wells don't seem to really do anything other than host useless town halls.
I've been fooled a couple of times now into wasting time on these joke calls.

Several org meetings scheduled for 10/27. Me and my management peers already have 3 sets of them scheduled for that day.

I have three orgaizational meetings next week, the first being on 10/27.
Seriously? I think the date is real, but not because the CEO is having another town hall two days later. No matter how hard everyone tries to read the tea leaves, we won't know for certain what's happening on the 27th – will cuts be huge or small, will we personally be impacted – until the day. On the upside, today is Thursday. You don't have long to wait.
