Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Pack it in...

How many rounds?
How many holidays corrupted?

This place reeks of mismanagement and lack of vision.
HPE could have been a market leader and set trends for decades to come. But, numbnuts and unqualified execs fleeced the company. And continue to do so...Thx Tony (aka Antonio).
You should be called the Turtle....all you are leaving behind is a "shell".

The ones left behind should be looking for next landing spot....if not, you will get yours soon enough.

I feel sorry for the family's that continue to be impacted - solid people bleeding for this company.
Thank you for your service, here is an HPE box to carry your belongings...bye.
RIP HPE, you had hope, but now are a shell of the past.

!8 years of poor leadership has taken it's toll. 18 years of laying off wealth producers to fund losses from Ill conceived buyouts, mergers, splits. 18 years of perpetual re-branding and waffling from one lame "pie-in-the-sky" business plan to the next. The current "everything as a service", "partner first" and "Greenlake" are just the latest in a long line of initiatives that assume customers are stupid and don't see through HPE's latest shell game. A customer has to have faith in the long term viability of a vendor before it plunks down vast sums for hardware and services. However the perpetual WFRs of customer facing employees has created the appearance of a rapidly disintegrating company that is circling the drain. No wonder HPE is hemorrhaging customers at an alarming rate. Keep drinking the saltwater of cost cutting to cure your thirst for profits Antonio. We all know how that will end.

Dude I was laid off and I blew my yearly quota out the water lol. I was tasked with selling about $15M for the year.... What did I sell? About $19M. Maybe $20M? I don't know. I couldn't see my actual end results since I WAS LET GO BY THEN. But I know that I shot way over the goal. The severance and commission was nice but I didn't bust my butt that hard for that. I was trying to build a career. Oh well. I hope IBM or someone else buys them out and kicks all the HPE upper management to the curb.

Antonio stepping down would be HPE’s best play. I no longer work there (laid off in July) and I still look forward to Antonio disappearing. He has done okay until last January. COVID has made him so confused and he’s had no business strategy ever since.

If HPE wants to save themselves, they might as well recombine with HPi into a single HP again.

Antonio will get canned just like Carly, Hurd, Apotheker, but Antonio doesn't care. They all made billions off our backs.

I wasn’t included in this WFR or the last but I see the value of the people who were let go and if you have an ounce of common sense you should be under no delusion it wouldn’t be you the next go around. I’m looking to jump off the titanic before it goes down

It's a shame what they did. Good performers were let go . HPE is a sinking ship and it has been for while. Get out if you can before they throw you out!!!

I couldn’t have said it better myself. I agree with this post 100%. I look forward to the day Antonio gets canned - he will.
