Official Aero Q4 Theory Thread

Any theories for what’s going to happen in Q4? RIFs? Furloughs? 401K reduction?

Honeywell will take its dings in q4 while they can still blame covid and the US administration tarifs. Meanwhile the world has rebalanced around a new normal that includes fewer trips and more home improvement. Military will have to carry the day.

Q4 is the hole that was dug while trying to save Q3. Only option would be to pull in orders from next year but wait...are there high enough orders to be able to pull in so that Q4 and the year ends off good? Highly doubtful but RIF isn't in the cards yet.

For Aero in the 4Q, people who have 25+ years with the company will say ‘we are lucky to have a job’ regardless how bad it is and people with a couple years and other company experiences will slowly leave for other job opportunities.

GET OUT NOW! I left & I couldn’t be happier. It was easily one of the best decisions of my life. It’s a sinking ship. You don’t have to be a genius to see it.

Remember what happened in Nov last year. RIF. If Q4 forecast bad, then....
Heard Q4 is short right now
Also you dont get 401k match if you can RIF before mid december

Folks- If you expect something different then look deep into the mirror and ask why would I expect anything different. Miracles ain't gonna happen. It's gonna be same ol same ol. RIF's, PIPs and bad MIPs. IF they give crumb raises next year, expect 1 to 2%. How was that raise last year? Remember raises? It's what other companies are offering Honeywell people and of course benefits that include treatment for PTSD from working at Honeywell.

I found a better company (raytheon) and i still come here to poke at honeywell. I also visit product pages and anywhere else i can find to leave honest, factual reviews. This is what happens when you create a culture of fear... you generate ex employees who would celebrate the truth getting out.

I think propulsion's future is largely dependent on what happens with the T55 program. It may not be Q4, but if it looks like GE takes that program, I'm not sure if it is worth Honeywell's time to be in propulsion. Its clear that the last 15 years of leadership has no understanding of how to be competitive, spent no money in critical RnD, only have 30yo technology to offer, and worst of all, have no respect from vendors to support any of their product lines.
