How many are they looking to cut in this coming round? I haven't seen any numbers thrown around as of yet, any ideas?

500 is inconsequential. In fact 4000 would also be inconsequential. The company does not exist to employ people. You are merely a temporary inconvenience to them... not unlike a bad case of pubic lice.
500 might be small potato to HPE, but that can wipe out entire departments. Anyone know what locations will be impacted? Houston?
