COVID exposure on Honeywell job site

So anyone else been exposed at a job site? I was now have to sit home without pay till I take a test then if it comes back negative I can return to work (if costumers allow me at their sites). If they don’t no pay for the 14 days!! What happened to setting aside millions for employees. Love Honeywell!

I’m in the North American service devision (mechanical) we do not get paid sick leave. Also it’s not a question Honeywell paying me it’s a fact they are not. Why would I be on a Honeywell layoff site if I didn’t work for Honeywell. Got better things to do then bash a company I don’t work for. You sound to pro Honeywell for me don’t worry they’ll prob lay you off soon and you’ll be on here b–ching.

Yeah.... Hon is paying for your time off due to COVID-19 quarantine, not effecting your accrued sick time or vacation. If you are an actual Hon employee, missed time due to COVID-19 quarantine, and are not getting paid for that time, you should be questioning how your time was entered for payroll, not Hon's practice in paying for it.

Question the truth of me not getting paid huh? I’m on the service side we don’t get paid sick. I question if you’re a pro Honeywell guy on here to knock down the negative reviews.

Twice i have had possible exposure, luckily negative both times. "Girlfriend who works at a hospital had a 100+ temp" Both times i was told by Honeywell medical to go home and quarantine. Both times HR contacted me that day and told me i was on paid admin leave until cleared. Everyone else that has had to quarantine, that i know at my site, has been paid for it by Honeywell,

I question the truth of the entire OP statement.

Man sorry to hear that story. Best wishes to that family. It’s a shame really gonna k–l motivation I had good spot numbers during COVID still haven’t seen a spot check and then get treated this way. We truly are disposable time to start looking for another place. First question how did you treat employee during the pandemic.

Exposed? Honeywell employee has died from exposure to covid. A good man who died alone. His wife and children never saw him again. Not that DA or leadership cares anything about that. Don't kid yourself. This company doesn't care its employees. It's all about $$$. Employees are disposable casualties.

Have you visited the online tool?
Did you ask your doctor for a letter recommending quarrantine or been advised by a medical professional from honeywell in writing? If not then i suggest asking for that letter...not from your boss..from a medical professional.

  1. S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR ANNOUNCES ONLINE TOOL TO HELP WORKERS DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY FOR PAID SICK LEAVE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS

The FFCRA requires certain employers to provide employees with up to two weeks of paid sick leave if they are unable to work or telework due to a federal, state or local quarantine or stay-at-home order. Employees are also eligible if a healthcare provider has advised them to self-quarantine for reasons related to the coronavirus or are seeking diagnosis for coronavirus symptoms. Paid sick leave may also be available to workers caring for someone subject to a quarantine order or self-quarantining based on a healthcare provider’s advice, or caring for a child whose school, place of care or child care provider is closed or unavailable due to the coronavirus. Up to 10 additional weeks of expanded family and medical leave is available for workers forced to miss work to care for their children because the pandemic has closed or made unavailable their school, place of care or child care provider.
