US people laid off in past years' Q4, did you get paid your AIP bonus as part of the severance agreement?

My last month was April, the month of the bonus. Instead of getting my usual bonus for the year, I got the bonus for the month. Yep. Nice .
Got layoff notice in November 2018 with an end date of May 2019 (The Rochester, NY office closure). No bonus. or raise. S—s as I snagged one of the rare 5/5 (far exceeded) that year.
You're in a tough spot w/ severance. What are ya gunna do, quit in protest?
The last firm I worked for had layoffs in advance of bonuses and didn't pay out on bonuses. But they also treat people there as if they're all worthless, and get in the way of executive bonuses.
I was let go through a RIF in December, 2018 with severance. I received my full bonus. Actually, if I remember right, I got that bonus much earlier than my co-workers who kept their jobs. I want to say I got it at the end of January or beginning of February 2019.
Bonus with no multiplier for how well the company did. So it is add to the severance. It gets paid out in March.
In 2016, they just assumed 100% and prorated it according to time served. I was let go the end of November so I got (366-31)/366. Honestly, can't complain about the way it was done. I wasn't too happy with the people who did it, but they are all gone now, too.
I got mine in 2018, pro-rated. I worked 8 mos of that year. I think that was fair. Most cos would not have paid the bonus.
In uk bonus was paid in full but only for months worked on bonus period. So if you left in October you got 10/12th’s of bonus.
In the US they have paid the AIP at 100% on a pro-rated portion of the year you worked. For example, if your effective termination date is Dec 1, you will get 11 months of your AIP based on 100% achievement.
I can only say what happened in UK when I left . The AIP was paid in full.
Great question, considering that AIP isn't calculated until Q1 the following year after the books have closed.
