There will be promotions this Fall, won't there?
If I recall correctly, this Fall's salary raises (merit and promotion based) will be replaced by RSUs. Let's see what we get.
God, how do I hate RSUs. I want salary raises as I get them instantly. If I'm really interested in stocks, I would buy them from other companies.
Careful what you ask for. I was a top performer and received regular raises for my excellent work. However, I was in a dept full of Sr Mgrs/Dirs, and Distinguished Engineers, so could never get a promotion. Those raises pushed my midpoint too high, and I got axed....even though I earned every penny.
If you hate RSU’s , I would be willing to take them off your hands.
Sounds like some people don't understand the difference between Options and RSU's. RSU's are never under water unlike options... stop your whining. People are hurting. When I read this from someone who's still here I wonder why I didn't take the ER..
Here is an idea for you, start a site called Raiseandpromotion.com. Post your whining there. Posters here are actually suffering.

Promotions are in May now I thought and they were skipped this year. Yup, $40K in RSUs down the drain it's looking.
