Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Questions to ask Cisco at group consultancy. These are important as it may assist in appeals and legal follow ups

Questions to ask at the group consultation
How are those impacted by the LR being selected what is the criteria?
Can Cisco state whether those impacted are allowed to see the personal data on Why they were selected as per GDPR 2018?
Can those impacted retain their mobile number?
Do Cisco have a policy for placing security outside meeting rooms at the request of the managers. If so can those involved in the meeting be informed prior to the meeting that security have been requested and the reason for that request.
If a manager makes a personal statement about emotional or mental condition Or any statement associated with legal protected status of those impacted internally, will Cisco inform those impacted and ensure proper professional help is given, who made the statement and why.
If any accusation is made internally by a manager about those impacted will the person impacted and accused be informed so they can understand and rectify the issue.
For those that wish to return to Cisco after the redundancy term is over can Cisco state if there are any companies they do not recruit from and this impacting any possible return.
Can personal meetings between manager and impacted employee be tapped to guarantee an honest exchange.
Can Cisco state whether the guidance and terms provided at the initial individual consultation meeting are terms and not just guidance, for example final salary calculation, holiday pay and car allowance

The 6 months is a legal requirement. What is not clear is whether Cisco have any other restrictions internal rules etc that need to be taken into account should someone wish to apply once the 6 month bar is up, for example, security concerns.

Interesting point on rehire, nowhere in the final agreement 2 years ago I received did it mention about restrictions on being rehired. I was approached and offered a role but HR knocked back the hiring manager as there is a 6 month rehire bar in place.
