It’s been rough with reduced staffing taking on one customer after another. There is zero empathy or praise knowing those of us working in the store are dealing with a lot of c-ap right now. I’m feeling overwhelmed and stressed out and need to take some time off. Any advice on the best way to pursue this ? I do have a few weeks of vacation time left but I feel I need to be out longer then that. Do they have a policy on taking additional unpaid leave of absences ?

Find another job. That’s what my advice would be. This place doesn’t care about their employees or their families. Find another job and improve your quality of life like I did.
We don’t sell widgets. We sell high consideration complex services and products. And you wonder why our surveys suffer and then you penalize us for bad service when you under staff us!
Just say that you have COVID symptoms and are feeling sick. You are then put on paid sick leave next two weeks. Just keep repeating this. Two reps in our store did this. It was approved by the hr. Verizon has unlimited paid sick time off now.
Yeah go get some sort of dr note and you can take a short term leave.
But there isn’t anything where you just don’t work for a period of time and go unpaid. Just uia time
