Risk layoffs were pushed to mid Oct.. but work is scarse all around.. i however i know in my group we have more then we can handle with staff we have been losing over weeks (people leaving)

and haven't received any assignments today. Very odd since its the end of the month/quarter and I received emails stating we are slammed with work. I guess we will find out soon enough..
Why? Can you imagine how that person must feel and probably doesn't want to talk about it?
