Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

AIG still has a HUGE problem with incompetent white males in management roles. Still a tie knit fraternity. Save those emails.

The day after the “breaking news” about the 4 black executives, AIG emailed a training course for diversity and inclusion. At this time the training is not required only recommended. I took a peek. I love having Robin DiAngela (best selling author of White Fragility) try her best to define me as a person. Maybe her white racist a– should have been more diverse in her past. She’s filth, profiting off racism.

Everyone smart is leaving, who cares about race, gender, etc. Two common themes are BD and PZ are running AIG below ground....

AIG is an awful company. Upper management tolerates bullying and have obvious favorites. It's an awful company this is the canary in the coal mine...people are leaving and the ship is sinking.. folks aren't tolerating it anymore. Or at least the good ones aren't tolerating it anymore.

The problem is that they are Black!

It has to be based on performance only and not anything else.

I don't understand what the problem is.

Their needs to be real financial consequences (positive or negative) for management and real (not Performative) allyship by senior management. Chubb has a black exec on their ELT.

Further proof that investigative reporting is dead. After all of the shady business transactions, collusion and money laundering that this regime has perpetrated against employees and shareholders, this is the only story that actually gets investigated. Wow

This leadership team revolves around trying to deflect publicity to cover their fraud.

Remember when the protests started around the George Floyd case? What did BD immediately do? He cut a $500,000 check to NAACP and sent out a heartfelt email so no one could say he wasn't committed to ending racism. Nothing really changed at AIG since then, but a half a million will shut up some critics for a while and it doesn't come out of BD's pocket.

When COVID spread into America, BD and PZ quickly said no layoffs and here is an extra $500 to employees. Look how much we care about our employees! A few short months later while the economy was still reeling, the rifs continued. Recently thousands of employees were essentially sold to Accenture. Last I checked COVID isn't cured.

Why can't AIG make a profit? BD what quick swears it's because COVID is the largest ever Catastrophe for the insurance industry. Great excuse, meanwhile some other insurers have done quite well.

All of this is smoke and mirrors to cover the truth. This leadership team is full of frauds, monumental failures and misrepresentations so why would anyone expect them to fulfill any promise?

I would expect another "hush money" donation to go out soon.
