My Dm is telling me to prepare for store closers for 4-6 weeks. The timing is supposed to set up right after Christmas. Why not before? Ohhhhh right profits over people.

Imagine paying tens of thousands a month for rent, utilities, salaries and benefits and getting nothing in return.
Retail is dead.
They are only going to shut down is if government makes them or there aren't enough employees to open the store.
They won’t close unless mandated by local government. The money never sleeps with vzw.

I think they’ll keep everyone open at the limited operating procedures like last time. Now that they have what they believe is secure in place no point in closing. Plus imagine, who do you close this time, those ones who stayed open would flip if they got selected to once again take the brunt of it
To those who think stores won't close again. What about when lockdowns hit again?
I don’t see the stores closing this time around since they have covid policies in place. Most stores have 2-3 reps working at a time so imagine all the missed traffic going into holiday with super inflated quotas. If you work in colder areas then good luck with customers wanting to wait.
COVID policies? Anyone at a busy or short staffed store? How are them polices holding up?
We already have our COVID policies in place so we aren’t gonna close again. Just isn’t gonna happen
