Is there any truth in this?

Walmart continuously opens and closes stores. Although, the consumer acceptance of online shopping is quickly changing buying trends. More and more you’re going to see movement to online ordering and same day delivery/pickup. Hence, the need for brick and mortar stores is constantly being evaluated. Stores which have a plunging profit profile or shrink problem, or in an area where the company no longer wishes to do business can be closed. It’s happened before.
Stores in the "ghetto" are more likely to stay open due to the massive offset they recieve for being in a food desert. The only thing that makes a store more likely to be closed is not making enough money. If your store doesn't continually grow and profit for the company its at risk
If issue profits yes yearly they will do that
Maybe in the ghetto lol The store in my town profited over $12 million last year. Yes PROFIT.
