How are other clubs utilizing the new Member Specialists? Our club or should I say the MSS' were using them as mini MSS'. Well I guess the word came down yesterday that they are to be out on the floor with an I Pad engaging members and getting credit. Apparently the goal is to be 8 a day. As you can imagine this is not making these people happy. I have never really understood the role of these people. Any input will be appreciated.

They should have put their money toward desk associates and called them member specialist. They're the one who really saved the company. Can't begin to tell you how much money Sam's Club is losing because of returns done the wrong way. Hundred dollar instant savings that don't come off automatically when using the tablet, and no one notices. Returned foods put back on the shelves. Memberships given away because they can't figure out how to work a promo. Plus a whole list of other junk no one regulates anymore. It's ridiculous.

Ours only works outdoor since they closed our t-b-cco they use the t-b-cco girls at self check our specialist are not happy
They had me doing that when I worked at Sears. They wanted me to get 5 credit apps an hour.
