Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Why do people think this?

This site is not overlooked by great upper management looking to gain feedback and exact change. They. Do. Not. Care.

Our manager too, interviewed everyone in the store. It was a weird vibe. Almost like they wanted information but were afraid that it would somehow reflect on them if the culture were off.

I’m pretty sure some of the managers were afraid of giving that feedback up the ladder.

I’ll tell you why because our director said people LOVE the no commission structure. No they don’t.

Management looks at this forum as most of little workers do. A place to gripe about nonsense that is meaningless. It's a hoot to read if you ask me! Adults acting like everyone owes them everything. It's been my observation that the people that complain the loudest are the bottom of the shoe kind of worker. If people hate their jobs like some of the people that post here claim they do, it's time to find another JOB and move on and be done with it! Frankly speaking, I think there are about 3 or 4 or maybe 5 people that do 95% of all the posting here and on the other VZ forum and are trolls. I have no proof of this but I see the same kind of postings over and over. Even the same spelling errors and it's too much of a coincidence. Just say'n.

I beg to differ. We had to have one on one meetings with managers after someone started posting claiming to be from RMO area. They were asking us exact questions about what people were saying on here. Not only that our Director told us he visited this site daily on a jam session. The chatter amongst higher ups is definitely there. Maybe not so much now, but in the beginning very much so.
