Based on most comments, I would assume Wells Fargo falls into the "CEO makes over 300 times average worker salary" bucket!

Here’s the thing: The tax applies to any company doing business in SF that meets the criteria, no need for HQ to be in SF. As others have pointed out, HQ is still in SF in name only. Wells has a huge important retail presence in SF and won’t stop doing business there.
As an SF employee (I don’t live there & didn’t vote for this!), I kinda love the eff ewe to Wells. They’ve handed us insult after insult, escalating things even further with the $150K+ no merit cr@p. What else are you gonna do to us?? C’mon.
HQ in SF is in name only, only one OC member in SF, one in OR and 2 in Charlotte, the other 14 in Hudson Yards. It’s already moved.
Until hell freezes over or the election is called. Next?
If average worker makes 75k, his salary of 36m is 480 times the average. So yeah. San Fran can kiss Wells headmasters good bye
It should go to a state with low taxes and cheap lease rates.
I think the hq is now in the cloud.
Pretty sure the writing's been on the wall since Chuck took over that the HQ will migrate to NYC. I give it 1 year from now, tops.
