Tomorrow will be my fifth anniversary with BBB. Happy anniversary to me! I've made it through five years of backstabbing, horrid managers, toxic work environment, senseless promotions of incompetent a—kissers... By far the worst five years of my entire career. I really hope I'll be saying goodbye to this place before the sixth one...

I work in IT not going to mention where. I can see that BB&B monitor's this site and I can trace what town, city and state most of these post come from. By the way the person trying to unionize people on this board I can see they have someone monitoring your posts and are in the process of setting something up to track your posts. I'd stop posting here if I was you or stop using Google Chrome and switch to Duck Duck Go to post here.

Pathetic. How sad of a person do you have to be to stick around a RETAIL job for five years that you can't stand?? Surely there's a 7- 11, a Walgreens or a Walmart nearby you could have applied to in all those five years. I don't get posts like these regarding retail. This is the easiest industry to get into and the there's no shortage of retail hiring. If you don't like the company you work for, move on. Do yourself a favor and quit already. Apply elsewhere. 🙄 So ridiculous.

I well aware this is public. People need to wake up. Complaining about it does nothing. Other than you getting laid off quicker. Don't you know BB&B monitors these boards and if you are using work laptops, cell phone or your signed into BB&B wifi they can easily track you and your complaints back to you...
Unions have changed, your referencing /thinking of old unions. New unions have modernized and we have apps with websites, stronger lawyers and contracts that companies sign and are held accountable. With covid companies are taking advantage and laying off alot of workers. Sure some are for legitimate reasons but for every one that's legit there are 10 more that are not. Know your rights. Stop complaining and do something about it.

Unionizing is never the answer. I am for a union but it's a joke and pathetic taking advantage of the situation right now. You have blanket view of the company based on disgruntled workers. Do more of a research especially posting about unionizing on a public forum.
Why put up with BB&B abuse? Stand up for yourself. BB&B is taking advantage of you and other instore employees. Closing stores without any notice, firing full time employees with medical benefits who've been there 5-10 years and replacing them with part time workers with no medical benefits managers making up their own store rules with no oversight from corporate and making up Covid rules case by case as they go along. You want to stop this? Store employees need to unionize.
A union would be able to answer your questions. Also they'd be able to stand up for employees, fight for you if they are closing stores, as well as force the company to show us their Covid rules... We are all sitting ducks.
I am meeting with store employees in my area in NY and NJ to try to unionize. Look for my how to join my union posts here very soon. But feel free to look online how to unionize start something and stop these employee abuses.
