Was included in an email that had some of the zz.name accounts in it. There were also a couple of zy.name accounts though. Know what zz means, but what does zy mean?

I know what KY is, but not ZY.
ZZ means their network login IDs were deactivated in Active Directory. Laid off.
I know with two specific people that were laid off yesterday and today they both show up as ZZ
In re to titi, sometimes when you put in a notice, you have time or leave accrued you take before your term date. The point is anyone with zz is gone per wf. anyone with zy is “displaced” but in the star program so they have the chance of being reinstated to a new role, they have taken some type of protected leave, etc., or they have put in a notice and their last day has not occurred or they are in a rehire window. Zy = re-hirable but gone....basically.
Just a guess, could she be on gardening leave before she officially starts at Citi? Seems kind of silly to have a special indicator just for people who fall in that category but...
Titi Cole is zy, pretty sure she left and went to Citi. So she’s on approved leave working for a competitor?
ZY is leave of absence and also used for non-working notice into severance duration until employee is no longer with Wells Fargo. You can view the Phone/Notes history if you pull up the list in the Outlook Global Address Book to see when the person's account was updated....will have the date, ITIM 99999, Disabled Employee LOA. Disabled meaning account access and not tied to ADA. To see all ZY, just open the Address Book and search ZY - Go.
Wf has many creative different ways to lay off people. They did it to me 3 times and it was all different every time. Zy and zz mean the same as far as I know. If you get a mandatory email to attend a meeting than you are 99% likely to be laid off.
Authorized Leave
Great question. I've always wondered this myself.
zy means on approved leave
zz I know means they are no longer employed here
