Sadly this looks to be true according to all my sources deep inside the nether regions of the corporate infrastructure. Some will be offered transfer to Conway but not many.

It makes sense. They have rebuilt majority of the SD40s and GP38s mainly, so it makes sense. but i’ve heard 390 layoffs!!! Wow!!

The quality of work will not matter, head count and what work NS believes they can do without will determine cuts.
They keep looking at the shop due to the large work force, nothing else matter's.
