Is there any hope of a bright future working for Wells Fargo right now?

I've worked at both and still do work at Wells and let me tell you, Boeing is heaven compared to this place and it's mismanagement and toxicity.
If you think wells is bad go visit Boeing’s section of this forum. It will shift your perspective.

if you stop reading this board I bet it will be less depressing. But really it will be a rough next few years. Those of us that make it through the first few rounds of layoffs will be subjected to many more rounds, anxiety over if we will still have jobs or not, while being held to a high standard to execute against our various commitments in a timely manner. It's not gonna be fun, but in the end, the company will emerge better for it. We'll be right-sized in line with our peers, and (hopefully) able to easily adjust as priorities shift. Flame away for me saying this, but it's true. The company has good bones but we have a lot of garbage to get rid of.
@sac lots of people in the back office have experience working in the front. I did personally did exceptionally well at another bank that merged into capital one’s first bank. That kind of attitude is what’s wrong with the front office. You don’t like it? Are you stressed? Move up? Can’t? Then that says more about you.

It’s been depressing in retail for 20 years. Glad you back office folk finally get to feel the pain. The whining though is laughable. Most of you wouldn’t make it for a week in a customer facing environment.
