Breakfast break.
Visit Clerks.
Tell boss how smart she is.
Lunch.
Shop downtown.
Walk downtown.
Return, visit, make a few trades, read news on my pc.
Change a few budget numbers.
Rotate some old folders with new folders, print some jobs, set them out to appear busy, take no-smoke, smoke break.
Trade more stocks.
Afternoon break, bathroom, water fountain time.
Tell boss how nice her hair looks, great outfit, brag how smart she is.
Visit on way back to office.
Eat some cookies, coffee, no-smoke, smoke break.
Back to office make a few phone calls, print some new reports, replace old reports, spread work
folders out.
Go into misc pc programs and leave pecker tracks.
Visit bathroom again, coffee, walk around building, take no-smoke, smoke break.
Walk around with some folders in hand and be seen "working".
Read more news, make more trades, zip up my PC, Turn off T PC, leave "work papers" on desk,
throw some "clutter" in trash
Go home and next day - M thru F.
REPEAT!!!!!!! And for this I'm paid $145,000 per year. Cha Ching.

OP, I first spotted this in a CompuServe chat group while listening to a Milli Vanilli cassette on my boombox Yeah Boyeeeeee! On another note, I hope that Euro thing fails.
You people make me sick. I had a good job with good pay and benefits that I enjoyed. I actually worked for a living. And it was outsourced to the lowest bidder. Easy to be glib until it happens to you.
Go outside to my driveway 20 minutes after my normal start time
Pull up job
Go get coffee/breakfast

Head to customer
Try and find the easiest way to do job, if too hard Jep
Lunch
Go to another job and repeat previous step regarding jobs

Explain to foreman I’m smart and knowledgeable but still have to jep job, or get another person to do the work
Get the call for overtime
Stay a few hours and closeout job not fully done so my numbers are within managers range
Park truck in driveway and do it all over again..

My job is better
I too have something of a similar job. My managers know I won’t do the Fios work so they hide me in a “retirement mode” group. I work M-F and do all the things you have stated, though I am looking for more of a challenge, are there any openings in your department ?
