He won’t be popular. Long time employees will resist the necessary change but he will clean up the place. And boy does it need it!!!!!
C’mon folks - u know the place needs to turned over top to bottom. It takes someone like Charlie to do so. You may not like it, but you don’t have a choice.
Embrace it. It’s changing one way or another. Be part of it, or leave. Staying and whining says more about you than Charlie.

If the OP is real then i have news for him/her. The problem is that if we agree things should change, that doesnt mean it is being done with efficiency or thought-any logic at all, frankly. first, they just recycle ideas. there was a “placemat” with goals, etc when we were wachovia. low and behold, we are doing that AGAIN. they do not take the time to get to know the business units or their feedback on what is not working. they want to fire ppl to save money and although the majority of us get it to a certain point, that means getting rid of some seasoned TMs that know what they are doing. In fact, some teams that have been through this before get left with all the green/dumb A’s of the team and one person was the only one that did a function and no one knows how so we are left trying to figure out how to handle one-off situations. They will cause chaos and a period of reinventing the wheel with NO updates to anything meaningful like tech. Sooo, are we happy to go through this all so dividends can be higher while the cap is not lifted? No, it p*sses us off
I agree with @cky that OP posted the original post and then submitted at least 2 of the replies attempting to fake buy-in from the group. There are a few ways to detect this. I don’t want to reveal my tells, but if you have a degree in psychology, you would see it easily. OP practicing deception.
OP - "He won’t be popular."
Correction, he is not popular now, and he doesn't care, he is NOT getting paid millions not to fix the company, he's getting paid to make sure the shareholders get paid.
Wells PR firm or someone playing pump and dump?
I'm starting to wonder if the guy making some of these posts has a bunch of blues lawyer guitars next to his desk.
OP It is fairly obvious, to even the uninformed, that that you are replying to your own original post. Come on now, try to be real.
do you really expect them to clean out all or most of the dumb–ses around here? There have been dumb–s help desks (not the normal one) around for way too long. LOB funded. It's so stupid and they provide less use than ever during covid.
Ha! In before the Zombies...
Getting my popcorn ready for the arrival of the WF Zombies (aka "The Walking Dead Weight")
Please, please get rid of the long-time managers that are frauds! And get rid the other other long-timers that will never ever work anyplace else, because they are allowed to do whatever they want to at WF and don't really have a clue about their job.
We do need to cut the dead weight. There are a lot of people that are still here only because they have made it so hard to get rid of someone.
Once they "bring out your dead", then they need to revamp EVERY process in the bank. It should not take so long to get simple things done.
Yes, it will be painful - especially for the dead weight. But it must be done...
Too many managers adding little to no value. Get rid of the bloat!
