This is simply not true. Safra has stated publicly that Oracle is cutting back our investment in that part of the business” . I know the truth s—s, and I wouldn’t wish an oracle hardware sales job on my worst enemy.

From what I have heard through the grapevine, sales in that business are up.
The Sun HW business has generated $30b of profit for ORCL in the last 10 years. It's a ca$h cow.

No need, everything remotely associated to to Sun acquisition has been or will be soon EOL Those products continue to either mold or dry up on the vine, regardless of the service/support revenue.
