Our front end just went to $15 or more. Floor Asso. ticked. MGR says Floor crew will get there's before year ends. I've been here 26 years make more than the $15 so I'm just scr***d. If your already over the amount no adjustment coming, or so we're told.

My understanding was it’s just for the Walmart side. Also sounds like some demotion for some assistant manager and department managers.

You know maintenance won't get a dime. I've all ready heard that maintenance is and will always be the lowest paid department in the company. Me and 2 other maintenance personal are looking. Basically F U Walmart..

Everything that article has in already happened at Sams Clubs so im guessing that was geared toward the Wal-mart side. We lost 2 really good merchandisers to carts because they make 4 more dollars an hour.

Wait what? Is everyone are getting raise? I don’t think this is right. $18 to $21 are team lead. And not everyone are getting raise this coming October.

IT ALSO SAYS THAT THEY WILL NOT GET THE QUARTERLY BONUSES

The pay increases start in October and will take the place of annual increases typically given in February or April. This group of employees will no longer receive the quarterly bonuses that go to hourly staff membrs. An “overwhelming majority” of employees surveyed said their hourly wages are the most important part of their pay, Smith said.

From my understanding its them bringing Walmart (mostly managment like Team leads) to Sam's Club pay and renaming their postions to what we call them here at Sams and won't actually affect us and we won't be seeing a pay increase of that magnitude as are Team Leads are already there at least at my club general Team leads start at 18 with fresh postions making more.

Maybe true but I read after this year we will no longer get bonuses at Sam's ever quarter. They have to get that money back some way lol

I read it, but not sure if its for regular Sam's Club of the SuperCenters. https://corporate.walmart.com/newsroom/2020/09/17/investing-in-our-associates-and-roles-of-the-future#:~:text=Overall%2C%20we%20are%20raising%20wages,across%20all%20Walmart%20U.S.%20stores.&text=All%20of%20the%20above%20associates,February%20or%20April%20to%20receive.
