The call will not be a whole co call. They will break it down into smaller groups. And whatever it is the SMs will be told to execute the plan. Whatever that may be. We will find out this week if anything. ASM 50s signed an agreement to work 50 hours for a pay. They cant just change that. They can let them go but cant breetch a contract.

I’ve heard that New England stores have it at 7am. My SM doesn’t usually come in till 8 due to child care but will be in with the rest of us at 7 now.

Hey corporate people working from home...how many hours a day do you wear your mask. We at store level wear ours from8-11 hours a day depending on our position. Oh and it is allergy season and we all get that death stare when we sneeze or cough but you wouldn’t know that because you are safe at home working. But that’s ok. Tomorrow when the big news is out we will all be home , wait not working.

Seriously. Without the asm and sms they will go down so fast. Whoever is advising them at corporate never worked in a store. Most of the previous leadership team aside from ST worked in the stores and know the business.
They can’t blame COVID on this folks just greed.

I am an asm 50 who in the last few days has stopped several shoplifters saving the company a lot of money. But you don’t see that or all of the other work I do. But that’s ok just eliminate my job tomorrow like you have for so many before. Keep hiring those $10 am hour kids who steal you blind.

I see multiple class action lawsuits coming.
Enough is enough. We, the loyal stupid employees who gave everything to this company will prevail. We gave up family, family functions, holidays why...because we cared and for what to get thrown away like yesterday’s trash. They were always greedy cutthroats. Tomorrow will prove it true.

Asm 50 gone. Please we are the ones who run the stores. Someone has to unlock the doors. I can see them forcing us to take a pay cut w 40 hours though.

Yes max freight coming in at 500+, 1-full time receiving lead and 1 to 2 part time help process freight - put away team is all part time maybe 3 people max then passing the rest put way to hard side & soft side. Some cages and U boats are being pushed back to receiving and carry over for the next day but now freight will not be every day. Receiving and put away were alway Monday- Friday no weekends but now all that has changed. Mandatory weekend day now has to be worked for both receiving and put way. Mgrs are ordering Pull and Corp is ordering regular freight.

PT has no interest in helping the company. Especially with what they make. A lot of FT will quit if they make PT. ASM 50s will be gone for sure. And most of them are who run the stores.

FT to PT. other companies have done it in the past. Linens n things, Bradlees, Caldors, Pergament, ... going back many years ago, Alexander's, A&S, Korvettes, Orhbachs, S Klein, Gertz, Gimbels even Woolworth's. Soon Sears and JC Penney's. Look at where those companies are today.
