Or else he won’t say anything one.
(1) 2021 AWS is guaranteed. All who had resigned in 1H21 already got pro-rata AWS. So why not the rest of us? We will get full 3-months.
(2) Engineer and complex attritions in both Chemical & Refinery Technical Divisions are worse than anticipated. Both DMs have aligned to re-hire ASAP.
(3) Pay freeze could be extended into 2022. But top performers will receive mid-point adjustments, to incentivise them to stay on.
(4) RM is for the people and will dare to pushback HQ if things don’t make any sense - thumbs up.
(5) Capital investment will continue to be sunk in AP - especially for EMCC growth!

EM is pushing many young SLS on board with only CL25-26. For those senior SLS at CL27 drawing very high pay check, EM will buy you a good present these 2 years, PIP as a “long service award”.

Those laid off claimed that they moved on from EM bla bla, but judging from the posts here, they just can’t let go! Angers them to see the rest of us staying back and still earning way more than them (at least for the majority of them)! They can say what they want but I am looking forward to the day we can prove them all wrong with their stupid rumours!

we all know its the super insecure laid off ex-Xom folks who are spreading the rumours.. other colleagues were personally told by the retrenched that AWS is cut and more firing to come, but it’s just becos they are sour they got fired and trying to pull others down.. lame
It is the younger set of employees, who had over-committed on their loans exposure, based on a 15-month salary basis, thus over-stretching themselves on mortgage, car and other personal loans (including bank credit overdrafts), that had feared and reacted the strongest … to the fake news of 2021 AWS cuts!
What financially-fragile lives they lead - them strawberries … tsk tsk :(

Who says times are bad. DW and his team are still getting the same number of RSUs, MORE dividends are paid to them despite the most challenging time the corporation has faced. No sweat on the lobbyist too. Times are great as there’s no accountability for folks at the top.

Why is it a hush hush thing when they are giving out increments to selected group? I mean, why can’t they just announce it that there is selective increment given based on performance vs having employees hear it from channels like this one?
