With the COVID lockdowns and working from home, what do we need mobile phones for? All of my usage has been on WiFi and I've spent like 15 minutes on the VZW network the past month. Don't need 5G either now that I'm on my cable connection every day all day. Expect layoffs soon.

@OP you are dating yourself with your derogatory terms “dumb pipe” Lol. The 70’s are over.
I don’t need to ever put gas in May car it’s electric. Time is running out for Exxon
Nope. Posted from my mobile phone using home wifi like 99% of other activities I do. My phone even does calls over wifi now. Verizon's future is a secondary dumb pipe.
At OP. I would bet money you used your mobile phone time post this. Please don’t post after extended periods of binge drinking. Euphoric thoughts aren’t always profound.
Exactly. I signed up for Mint Mobile. Only $15 a month for unlimited talk and text and 3GB of data which is more than enough for the limited amount of time I spend on the road. Why would anyone pay $45 a month or more for service? Waste of money!
The person that posted should get rid of their phone and probably their car too. Don't really need shoes since you don't leave your house. Pants... Nah. Heck, toothpaste, hair gel, mouthwash and every other social need is gone. Great thinking genius!
