Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

I was asked today who I trust in CIS?

No one. Thoughts?

I think they sit around and spy on you...otherwise whey would they hire people like this?

They huddle in their million dollar James Bond hideout "keeping it tight". One whiff of audit violations or security risk and the mighty bend to their demands. One thing you can expect from them is to come up with rules and regulations that promote utilization of their growing infrastructure role in the company. The greatest flaw with is that their level of autonomy is fairly broad. They do not answer to common leadership until the CDIO level. In effect they do not prioritize the customer, they prioritize security.

Why not go to the Investigations team? And as for spying on people, hello you are on a work computer being paid by a company. If you think people sit around "SPYING" on you then you really have no idea how these departments work.

Why should you trust someone in the CIS? They don't trust anyone. This is why they have multiple teams that do nothing but spy on employees.

@xsi, that is a dumb–s statement.

Instead of over-analyzing the question itself, ask why it needs to be a question in the first place.

I feel that the question was not framed correctly. The why and what can be done differently are more important.
