not sure if possible, can past LRed employee go back to Cisco and ask for the same ER package? it seems very unfair.. of course that person has to qualify for the math of the ER (age+ years of service)

nope , did it three times, you get reset for years of service from hire date, but what is nice, they dont target new hires only people with 5 years of more, so it was perfect way to ensure no LR as they always LR tenure, funny eh?
Chambers got ER'ed 5 years ago and he's still Chairman Emeritus for Cisco, he has a Cisco badge and laptop with VPN & Telepresense access. Anyone who is ER'ed is entitled to the same. If you were a Software Engineer, your new title becomes Software Eng Emeritus.
SOmetimes, you just cant fix stupid
You remind me of ex-girlfriend who turned up 25 years later asking me to pay her a pension.
Yet another post by a troll. My advice to the OP - lose some weight, get a real job and finally move out of your mom’s basement. Believe me, she’ll be glad when you finally take some initiative.
My 15-y-o daughter is more self-aware than that.
Yes, all past employees are eligible. Registration begins tomorrow at 9 in blg 21 cafeteria. Free car wash and balloons for the kiddies.
Thank God they're so obsessed with their best place to work award that they don't wanna ruin it with an LR (hopefully it's just ER)
All previously LR'ed employees are entitled to future ER packages perpetually. Only condition is you have to be alive, it cannot be passed down or inherited by your spouse or offsprings.
You also qualify for a 7-bedroom mansion and new BMW SUV every 2 years.

Sure you can go back and ask. Hold the phone away from your ear because the laughter will be loud.
Why is it unfair? They aren't obligated to give you an "early" retirement package. This is a PR tactic to prevent negative press for firing people during the pandemic record job losses. You got LR'd during a great economy so be thankful for that.
Hey kid, not unfair. Freaking brilliant!
millennial or genz would not qualify for ER.
