Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

If you type HPE into any search engine it returns HPE layoffs in 3rd or 4th position. Try that with Amazon, Google, or Apple.

Non-technical or HPE executives. Same difference.

Good try minions. Most searching this site would know better.

That's because search engines customize your searches based on your previous click throughs and this site uses Google Analytics too. Big Brother Google knows what you're up to.

If that’s the case a lot of people are searching for HPE layoffs. Makes sense considering how many people were laid off recently during the pandemic and how long HPE has been laying off folks over the years. Not a good look for HPE.

There is some truth to that statement but....clear your cookies. Then try using Bing or another search engine no one uses. Same results. Moral of the story any search engine you are using is collecting data on what the majority of people are searching for. The first word/acronym typed in the search engine is trying to auto complete your search by what "normally" would be typed next. For HPE the 3rd or 4th search result is layoffs.
