I notice on Macy’s jobs the only job open is loss prevention jobs. Is that many lp people leaving or being let go ? Thoughts ?

There’s a reason it’s now it’s own dept. it’s to cut either operations/ lp management or to cut lp dept completely!
How the Hell is Macy's still allowing people who are relatively untrained make potentially physical apprehensions in this day and age? The liability is extreme and even Cops are getting fired these days.
Not to mention they pay $15 an hr
Why would anyone work for this outfit LP or AP (whatever they brand it now) division? In the past staff was reduced to the point of unsafe and useless. The program itself was an example of doing the same thing yet expecting different results - with the results being that shortage increased every year. Why would someone get hurt trying to deal with violent criminals - no real training - no real equipment - outdated cameras that could not provide quality photos that one could be identified from.
LP is a dept of its own now...no longer part of Operations.
