This culture is getting far worse than it is better. Do you agree? This place is beyond disrespectful and unreasonable. They don't care one iota how their decisions and demands land on people. I have never seen so many upset and p-ss-d off people as I have working here. People I talk to are miserable and disengaged. They have good reason to be. I am working hard on an exit strategy.

The culture has certainly changed over the past few years. But buckle up, it's going to change way more. Way less "Minnesota nice" or passive aggressive stuff – i.e. Charlie's "candor" piece.
If a lot is also going to EGS then that's a cost thing and I've seen first hand in another company what an obsession with moving stuff to India does to morale and the staff.
OP is trolling.
this place is definitely a blood bath! THey are brining in more old people from JP Morgan with more old ideas. Unfortunate, this place will never move ahead with these hires.
It’s a pandemic people. Changes and the unknown causes all of this and transformation takes time.
It’s scary times I feel like a mushroom. Very little is said from middle management.
I saw this before at Chase so I knew what was coming. Of course, none of my co-workers believed it but they are now. Just wait until 70% of the IT jobs are at EGS, that's the Chase way, sorry to say. Expect more outages, slow turnarounds, etc. that you get for that brilliant decision.
It's all good, GC's agile transformation will make our culture better.
OP is a troll of the worst kind who makes up stuff to get a rise out of WF employees and ex-employees for her own perverse enjoyment. Get a life TROLL
Wells Fargo culture and whatever it represented is gone. Welcome to Wall Street. HQ is now in NYC.
Been here 21 years, I've never seen mass paranoia and disenfranchised employees like I'm seeing now. Even in the old WFSC days with the annual reorg/layoffs it was nowhere near this level.
Work has disappeared and shifted to EGS, people are going what work there is and freaking out. The last three years has been a perpetual sinkhole for morale.
I had a great annual and mid-year review, but I'm in California so I still expect the axe. My manager was a major cheerleader but he's been doom and gloom for two years now.
It's atrocious what Norwest did to this place.
I dont think the current leadership cares at all about the culture. We are being converted to yet another NYC based money center bank . The wells fargo story is irrelevant!
I don’t think anybody ever said it was about the culture.
