I don't care. I use a VPN on my personal computer. All they'll get is the IP of the VPN service.

They don't have enough computing power with 10 quantum super computers to track the number of malcontents at Honeywell. It's everyone that hasn't s—ed down the Daria$$ Kool aid!!!

Who views this site on work laptop— most directors , VPs , and just about everyone else in management. They start reading it just before quitting for a better job making car seats at Lear. Just my observation.

They've given you a number
And taken away your name

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha Honeywell can't even handle scheduling Furloughs correctly. The ALT is so inept that even if they did someone manage to get IP addresses, they wouldn't know what to do with them. Thumbs up their A*ses.

I've posted from many different work PCs over the last 5 years never using a VPN. What are they gonna do track me down and riff me?? IDGAF if they do anyway.

@Non Honeywell Employee that’s not quite how HTTPS works. It ensures the data transferred between parties is secure from a third party while in transit. The receiving party can still log whatever they want: the traffic was just securely delivered.

Looks like the company bootlicker is all upset about the truthful and negative information here!

If you are that concerned use a vpn. Corporations cannot lawfully request an I.P. unless there has been a threat. They must go through the legal process and supply proof before a subpoena can be put in motion. If you are dumb enough to use a company computer for posting...

Any and every site you visit has access to your IP address

OP, are you hinting that our IP info might be shared with Honeywell?

@hjp: OP likely read the privacy policy at the bottom of the page (at the link paragraph 1.1) and doesn't realize all websites can track your IP address unless you use a VPN like methods shown in previous posts.

This is a https web site the s at the end of http(s) mean secure...... And if someone is tracked back to this site that means they have been hacked........ So if someone is tracked and "Honeywell" fired someone over a post I would think a law suit would be in store.... and if anyone is smart you always go to a proxy server before you come to this site..... Never to be trace on a personal computer

https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip-reveal

"The IP Lookup feature isn't linked to an extensive Internet directory. It's not like the landline phone system, where you could grab a phone directory or call the telephone operator and try to match a name and street address to a telephone number. (Talk about a lack of privacy!)

In the Internet world, there's no such thing—not for an ordinary citizen and not even for law enforcement, without a subpoena."

Stop spreading fear. Plus there are ways to conceal one's identity such as VPN or a private session. I absolutely would not recommend using your work computer for this because that is tracked. I think everyone is aware of that.
