Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Mother Xerox is very worried about exchanging information amongst her employees

EVERYONE that works for Xerox needs to read the posts of “Any layoffs for the Deep Dive team?”
You need to know that Xerox is paying attention to sharing the truth with others about the support situation
Xerox is clearly trolling that post because it’s afraid of the truth about how bad the support really is and what they have done to the thousands they’ve transitioned
It’s called FEAR
Fear of people finding out how crooked the company really is
Read it especially if you still work for Xerox
You should know how you are next
Everyone is next
No job is safe.

Whatever anyone here says about trolls, Xerox is in massive trouble unless a real strategy to take the company forward is put in place, although it escapes me what that would look like.
In any case it is unlikely to say the least and previous strategies, such as buying ACS are hardly good examples.
Xerox is in the long decline tail of a growth curve which started 50 and more years ago, a decline which will probably end in oblivion.
Happens to many tech companies, perhaps Xerox managed to live on borrowed time for longer than many, think Kodak, DEC, Unisys, EMC, Nokia, BlackBerry etc.
Of course Xerox is no longer really a hi tech outfit now, just a me too tech company except in a few areas with zero growth and future, i.e. a few a niche print technologies of limited commercial value.
I wish all of you who still work for the smaller X but cannot see a good outcome sorry.

I think the purpose is to share info
I can’t see how the OP would think this would take down the company
Hiding information or not sharing events though isn’t the problem either
I’d say the company is the problem with what I’ve read here over the last few months

If you think xerox is trolling this site and afraid of 15 posters that continually complain might bring down the company then I have a bridge to sell you. In a nice high traffic area.

Deep Dive is remaining pre-hcl 2nd level support which are now considered 3rd level support on analyst side. Everything is escalated to them because india, Philippines or whatever 3rd world support team doesn't have a clue how a copier scans or prints. But hey, Xerox is saving money on salary so that's a win for Johnny Vagin@.

I totally believe the statement that it’s doubtful it’s management that spends two seconds of their time on this site
But maybe it’s someone’s job to do it?
I know of some as- kissers that would do it for free
Sooooooooooo

I’m not sure if it’s trolling or not but after reading the suggested post I do wonder why there was such a heavy and quick amount of minus responses
Doesn’t really make a lot of sense all of a sudden

I really doubt anybody at Xerox in any sort of senior management position is paying attention here or trolling.

Maybe first or second line management might be reading as they are just as concerned as everybody else.

Xerox needs to bring support folks back but I doubt any would come back unless they can’t find a job elsewhere.

So there are 10 people (formerly 220 people) left that actually have knowledge of the Xerox products???
That is INSANE and if I was a customer I would be p-ss-d!!!

What are people supposed to be afraid of on an anonymous post ??
Who are all these people at Xerox taking the time to “troll”.?
Everyone needs to understand that nobody in upper management gives a c-ap about some lay-off site nor the information it’s employees share because it is not going to help them materially - they will fire everyone regardless. Get your resumes in order.

I’ll be honest.. I work for an XBS core and have never heard of the term “Deep Dive”.. is this like a team to handle the worst customer issues?

Xerox is duct taping the seems right now and it’s not holding.. $310m in hardware over 3 months is laughable.
