Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

This Board is Therapeutic

Reading all these different threads makes me feel human after all. I don't know if it was the '2' rating that I received, the first time in my career that I haven't consistently met objectives, but somehow I find comfort knowing how many of you feel about the bank. Saves me money on a shrink. :-) Thanks to all.

I received a “2” rating, as well. The reason? I need to work on my time management and prioritization skills. That was the only reason I was given. In my entire career, I have NEVER received a 2. My last 4 reviews were 4s or 5s.

By the way, I’ve had one 1:1 with my manager this year and that was 4 weeks ago. Ironically, I included “time management” as an area of opportunity on my self-assessment 6 weeks ago. Given the crushing workload, unattainable SLAs, constant change to policies/procedures and the time spent fighting battles and escalating issues because of internal partners who don’t know what they’re doing, I wanted to find ways to better manage my time instead of working 12-15 hours a day 6 days a week. Didn’t expect my words to be used against me. Guess that’s what I get for being transparent!

Sorry about your 2, but don't rule out a "shrink"; sometimes we all need someone to talk to, and between COVID, WF, the economy, and isolation, it's not wonder many of us – believe me, not just you! – are struggling.

I think we all feel that way. The thing is we all know there are serious issues but the issue is the "leadership" is saying to trust them when all they have shown us is the fact they cannot manage their way out of an open sack. But you are more than a number!

Don’t let those psychopaths get to you. That’s what they want! They want to break you with bogus reviews. That’s what they are. You remember, long after you leave that company whenever that you are better than that. Good Luck!
