Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Mental Health and Stress Management

Knowing this layoff process will take at minimum a couple years has been weighing on my mental health.

I don't want to shave 5 years off my life stressing about getting a blank calendar invite from HR to discuss my package.

I am currently looking for other opportunities and with any luck something will stick.

Post regarding staying after the cuts/layoffs and a stroke survivor who posted in response.

Good prospective and response.

Yes this is stressful for everyone. People have children, mortgages/rent, car payments, all while a pandemic is happening.

Take a deep breath. If you need to talk to someone reach out to your doctor. From there they will set you up with a therapist.

Stay healthy and strong. I read a post awhile back of someone who had a stroke a few years ago due to the stress WF and long hours. If I find it I’ll repost it.

I doubt it will take a couple of years; the layoffs will probably occur VERY quickly (once they decide) because of the expense ratio.

The economy is going to collapse. Millions of homeless. There won’t be other jobs.

If you get laid off and offered a package, jump for joy. Take it and run. Go drink some beer and f—etabout this Dumpster Fire.
