UB, she put us in this situation to begin with.

UB by far was the most incompetent executive anywhere. A great Harvard case study someday. I interacted directly with her for some time. Shocking how he she even got there.

UB only hired yes men/women too. I watched over and over people much more talented defer to her because they knew they had to. She was an engineer that never engineered.

UB was an engineer who tried unsuccessfully to be a business person. JV is and was a failed business person. Both failed to recognize their own outsized paychecks, and neither were open/honest with the employees. UB tried to have skilled leaders, JV leaders are hand-selected “yes people”- mostly but not entirely failures from HP.

JV knows what he is doing. He inherited UB’s disaster and tried to sell it. That didn’t happen now he is biding his time, passing go to collect another $25 or so. He is smart enough. UB was clueless and frequently shows up on top 10 worst CEO lists. She had a few people she dragged along with her that will compliment her on LinkedIn, but they were mostly losers too. Several couldn’t last after UB left. The best CEO was Joe Wilson followed by DTK.

since this is the Layoff page, who is responsible for a bigger % of cuts in the same amount of tenure

Ursula ruined us with ACS and then never making us one company. The year she cut everyone's salary 10% she gave herself a big fat bonus and bought herself a $9,000,000 townhouse while workers went on unemployment or had to take a 2nd job to make ends meet. Johnny V was just sent in as Icahn's henchman to either get the company ready for sale or sell off all the rest of the assets and leverage it to the hilt so that it collapses a year or two after they cash out.

poster “qud” has the answer here. Don’t be blinded by your frustration to think that he’s incompetent. They know exactly what they’re doing at the top - it’s just not good for the average employee down the chain. All about Wall St.

Ursula placed Xerox firmly on the path of irrelevance and destruction. Johnny V does not have the vision or acumen to alter its trajectory. He will have accelerated its eventual demise to occur on his watch.

UB: inept train wreck
JV: knows what he is doing, we just don't like it

Both are equally bad. I rather have Ronald McDonald as our CEO ...past the mustard please!

Tough to pick as both totally inept leaders. Ursula with more time on the job gets the nod but Johnny V with his stupid remarks is closing in.
