This is how HPE plays the game and it is obviously not a winning strategy. Repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results.
Is HPE an American company? How many Americans actually work for the company.
I'm not surprised they outsourced engineering to Taiwan and India...when will people be notified? I imagine this is going to impact a lot of jobs besides just engineering...Marketing? Documentation?
HPE leadership just sold the farm. Outsourced engineering to Taiwan and India.
Also to answer the question about why employees being impacted is because you’re just an asset, a number, a tax write off. It’s an ugly truth. It s—s.
If you think WFRs are personal, then you’re not seeing the big picture. The company is a sinking boat and they’re ironically doing you the favor and not allowing you to witness it.
You should be happy to leave HPE. Had you stayed any longer, you’d be having worse working conditions with the company. You would have wished they let you go sooner.
“Why are the employees and their families being impacted...”
Because they are merely pawns. Cheap and expendable. Wise people learn to become rooks or bishops or knights. And the smartest become queens and kings. They will sacrifice everyone else to avoid checkmate.

A better question to ask instead is how many Managers, Directors, VP, Sr. VP, etc... were WFR'ed today.
Why are the employees and their families being impacted and no accountability fromt the Management team.
