I have worked for the company for 10 1/2 years. I have good attendance and have a good work ethic. I am a Lead and make as much as a lot attendant. It hurts a lot.

Past time to go somewhere else if you want more money. You will be the new hire at a higher pay rate.

It should hurt you to know that the folks in Bentonville is making double your yearly pay in bonuses alone. But no, you want to pick on the guys in 100 degree weather or 6 inches of snow pushing carts.
Since when does this company care about their high turnover? Not for many years! They don't care! They hire part time. No benefits. No HR to train. They dont spend money on training a good associate any longer! They don't care! They figure by going through all these poor people, a few good ones might shine through and stay for more than a week. Sad state of affairs...only getting worse. THEY DO NOT CARE!

If you don't like what you do or where you're at, change it. I swear, doesn't anyone go out and get a better job anymore? Freaking Hobby Lobby raised their wage to seventeen an hour to start, try there. Look around. Don't settle. This is your life. Your only life. It's your duty to make it better.

They exploit everyone! And then wonder why their turn over ratio is so high. Merchandisers are a perfect example of exploitation. They knew they could get rid of nights to make that crew do every single department. If you think they care then I feel bad for you.
That's why I left sam's club 2 years ago. I was a lead for 12 years and when I left my pay was $16.30 an hour!! Started with another company in a entry-level position making more and so far have been promoted 2 times and making way more money than I ever would at sam's. Life is better out of the club!
All leads do not make $18. Only the MLS starters at that. Some leads make $15 like the carts attendant and service desk.
You make 18 and they make 15 and if anyone has a right to complain it is the merchandisers and all those that still are at 11an hour. Ive never understood people like you that only think of yourself. You should be happy for your fellow coworkers that they got a raise. If you been with the company that long then you should be thankful they changed there pay structure because back in the day when you became a lead you got a whopping 50 cent raise so stfu and if 18 is not good enough for you then step down. Your id–t post just shows how much disrespect you have for the cart guys and how you think you are superior and if fact im sure at least 2 or 3 out there would work circles around you. By the way I am a manager and I can see right now you would be one that I would fire just because of your sh–ty attitude. You should be happy that the company is finally giving out raises that may actually help instead of that c-ap they did to try and make themselves look good to the public.

You make 18 while they make 15 and federal minimum is $7.25. Honestly, the company is such a monster 🙄🙄🙄
