Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Is the R2B role worth it?

Lots of changes for how R2B reps are expected to perform and do, basically becoming more aligned with BAMs from what people are saying. any word on layoffs or restructuring within that role? Is it worth applying to or is it better to stay in retail?

I agree with R2B having a year shelf life. It also really depend on the R2M Manager, if they didn't come from B2B, you most likely will not learn anything new. Most Sr Managers from GM, SM, and even DM have little no idea what B2B sales actually do. And if you are in R2B now, and you've been trying to get into b2b for awhile but still can't get in, that means pretty much you somehow burned some bridges and mightve blacklisted yourself.

R2B reps have a 1 year shelf life. So as long as you plan to use it as a stepping stone to another business position then go for it. But R2B management totally uses and abuses you. Prepare to burn your candle at both ends while you see the least amount of support from any leadership team in the company.

Why would you want to new commission Structure retail has? Who’s selling business in stores anymore, no offense? Think about it, those accounts were a nightmare before team commission started I wouldn’t want to have that be my whole job now- telesales is your best bet or bam role, more money
