Invest in BP or not?

Is it worth investing in BP or not? The share price is Pretty low again, I missed the boat in March. Just not sure whether to or not.

  • make ur analysis and decide whether renewables will plug the hole of 40% less liquids production. Also bet whether BP will outcompete incumbent utilities or other OM that have backings from GVT funding..

My financial advisor for a major investment firm told me earlier today that Chevron and Exxon were buys and BP was a sell

They have real concern about BP’s strategy from shareholder standpoint whether it’s a strategy itself or the pace of change and the promises they are making.

He said he was on a private call with one of the top equity analysts in his firm and the guy said, “ I guess replacing oil and gas with pixie dust and unicorn farts as sources of energy is frowned upon by the collective investment community“.

Depends how long your willing to hold, they are sitting at 258 today, i would hold off buying just now but if your thinking of buying and holding for a few years i am quite sure you will end up quids in. Just my thoughts offcourse.
