Not only they suppress wages, work visas workers are replacing US citizens
The H1-Bs also serve to radically depress wages.
So, tell me, why would people be "Hey, these people who significantly depress our wages are AWESOME!"
So sick of the racism on this site. Completely toxic. For the record, the H1-B program is a critical component of America's tech dominance because we s— up all the best talent from around the world. Beyond that, all the H1-B's I know work much harder than lazy entitled people who blame their lack of promotions on young hard-working people. Grow up.
Younger, cheaper, and not a US Citizen is the OCI way. It has nothing to do with performance.
Note who they are hiring after each RIF. Lower salary band, less stock, less experience than the person they're replacing.
Completely agree with @Seattle Kid ... It has nothing do to with performance, just cost ... as always when working for Oracle.
Once you understand that working at Oracle is a privilege the rest will make sense.
Don’t focus on the number of employees, but where they are located and how much they are paid. Younger and cheaper!
