Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Naperville Site sold to INEOS with the Petrochemical sale

On Thursday we we're sent an email that the Naperville site has been sold to INEOS with the Petrochemical sale.

"As part of its agreement to purchase bp’s global petrochemicals business, INEOS will also buy the full Naperville campus, including the buildings and associated land. As previously communicated, most Naperville facilities team members will transition to INEOS and continue to support the building and campus.

bp will continue to lease space on the campus for up to three years as we assess the best space option for office and lab staff in our other Naperville businesses."

Hope the seller and their listing agents are transparent about the chemicals developed and possibly still in/around the buildings and grounds.
I seem to recall a specific type of cancer reported by an unusual number of workers

The same lesson was taught to finance when in the old days they were told bp will never outsource finance!

Wow! I never thought BP would be able to unload the Naperville site to anyone. It must have been a fire-sale. Sad. At one time, that site was so full and so busy. It's like watching the vultures pick off the skeletal remains. Best wishes to everyone there.
